With decades of experience in delivering expert windsurfing tuition, we ensure that every participant receives top-notch instruction, from our team of world-class instructors, when they join an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) windsurfing course at Plas Menai.

During the Stage 2 your instructor will teach you the knowledge and practical skills to get you sailing around, practising tacking and gybing, and enabling you to make progression towards and away from the wind with lots of fun and challenges along the way.

During this course we aim to maximise water time, there is some theory associated with the syllabus but we aim to teach this in an efficient manner. RYA Youth Improver Windsurfing Stage 3: Ability after the course: Able to sail on all points of sailing in light winds, tacking and gybing.

In Stage 4 your instructor will teach you all about blasting control in the harness and footstraps and practising tacking and gybing in stronger wind. This course is all about the need for speed and that amazing feeling of full pelt planing (when the board skims across the water!)
Give your racing skills a boost with our Windsurfing Racing Boot camp. Please be aware that this day is most suited to those with Stage 3 or equivalent skills. In is 2 days of intense training delivered by experienced coaches working on key skills for racing.
