Train for RYA Sailing Qualifications in Caernarfon, Wales!
Learn to sail on this enjoyable five day cruising course that runs over two weekends from Friday to Sunday (weekend one) and Saturday and Sunday (weekend two.)
Both the RYA Competent Crew and the RYA Day Skipper courses run alongside each other.
RYA Competent Crew: This course is aimed at beginners and those who want to become an active crew member rather than just a passenger.
RYA Day Skipper: This course is aimed at aspiring skippers with some yachting experience and basic navigation and sailing skills.
What’s included
– Meals onboard: The boat will be stocked to provide three meals per day as well as snacks and drinks. If you have any special dietary requirements please note them when booking.
– The Yacht: 38ft Hanse 385 . Commercially coded by RYA/MCA as category 2 compliant the yacht can carry 6 people including the Skipper. Facilities onboard include; heating, hot water, cooker, fridge, toilet, Radar, GPS and AIS.

– Sleeping bag

Check-in details
Please arrive at the centre for 19:00, for a briefing with the instructor before heading to Port Dinorwic.

Restrictions
Day Skipper requires at least 5 days on-the-water sailing experience including 4 night hours and 100 miles logged.
