Set Sail on a Fun & Sociable Cruising Weekend in North Wales
Looking for a weekend with a difference? Grab your family or gather your friends and explore the spectacular North Wales coastline from the comfort of your very own yacht.
You can take over the whole yacht as a group or alternatively attend on your own and meet your crew on arrival.
This weekend escape will unlock your sense of adventure and who knows where the wind (and the mood!) will take you.
One moment you could be admiring towering sea cliffs, and the next you might be gliding past historic castles, spotting puffins, seals, and maybe even dolphins.
From the pretty waterfront towns of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris to Bangor’s Victorian pier, lighthouses, and secret little islands, there’s no shortage of “wow” moments.
What’s included:
Meals onboard – The galley will be stocked with hearty food for three meals a day, plus plenty of snacks and drinks to keep everyone happy. (Just let us know about any dietary needs when you book.)
Your yacht for the weekend – A 38ft Hanse 385, big enough for 5 guests and your skipper.
Think cosy cabins, heating, hot water, a proper cooker, fridge, toilet, radar and GPS (so you can relax and just enjoy).
Accommodation and catering – It’s all taken care of, so you can focus on the fun. We cater for all dietary requirements.
What to bring:
- Warm clothes
- A sleeping bag
- Non-marking sailing boots/wellies (no black soles)
- Snorkels and masks if you wish to explore
- The yacht has room to carry a paddleboard if you have your own
- Wetsuits or swimwear for in water activities
Weekend Highlights:
Can be treated as a fun, hands-on introduction to cruising, perfect for total beginners or anyone who wants to sharpen their sailing skills.
No rigid schedule – the weekend is about enjoying the sea, the scenery, and each other’s company. Fancy taking the helm? Want to learn a knot or two? Just ask!
A sociable, laughter-filled adventure with people you know
Check-in:
Arrive at the centre at 19:00 on Friday evening for a relaxed welcome and briefing with your instructor before we head off from Port Dinorwic.
You will be back of the boat by late afternoon on Sunday after spending two nights on board.
