Cruise the Menai Strait and Develop Your Powerboat Skills!
By the end of the 2 days you should have the skills to confidently plan and excute a short daytime costal passage. The key learning points will be planning a day cruise, boat preparation, boat handling, pilotage, passage making and man overboard.

Itinerary
This course begins at 9:15 and finishes at 5:00, there is an hour break for lunch during the course. Both days begin and finish at the same time.

Please arrive at the centre 15 minutes before your session in time for a briefing.
What to bring
– Suitable warm clothing to wear
– Hat, gloves and sun screen
– Wellies or Shoes you don’t mind getting wet
Restrictions
Minimum age of 16 years old, certificate will be endorsed accordingly to under 18’s. Boat handling on costal waters up to the standard of the RYA PB2, is also recommend you have theoretical knowledge, up to day skipper, valid first aid certificate and hold a VHF Radio Licence.
