KEELBOAT – RYA START SAILING (L1)

Start Your Sailing Journey in Caernarfon with RYA Keelboat!

Our two day RYA Keelboat Level 1 – Start Sailing course will give you a fun introduction to the world of sailing, On board our own keelboat this will give you the opportunity to follow in the steps of some of the best yachtsmen who started off sailing small keelboats. Most of the course will be spent on the water but some basic aspects of theory are included to give you an all-round understanding to ensure so that you will be safe and enjoy your time afloat. Some things covered in the course include – Rigging, Sailing techniques such as tacking, Parts of the sail and sail control and much more.

What’s included
Our friendly and experienced instructors will guide participants every step of the way, providing clear instruction, encouragement, and a positive learning environment.We will also provide all necessary personal protective clothing including wetsuits, waterproofs, buoyancy aids and helmets.
