RYA POWERBOAT LEVEL 2- 2 DAYS

Develop Your Boating Skills in Caernarfon!

Over the two days we aim to cover the following, you will begin by developing your low speed close quarter boat handling skills being introduced to driving at planing speed. Will also cover basic engine maintenance, chart work, collison regulations, tides and weather.

– RYA PB2 certificate
– All person protective clothing including waterproofs, buoyancy aids and helmets

Itinerary
This course begins at 9:15 finishes at 5:30 on day one and the same on day two. The night excersie day will be explained to the customer upon briefing by the instructor.
Highlights
Launching, recovery, boat handling, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside and Man overboard.

Check-in details
Please arrive at the centre 15 minutes before your session in time for a briefing.

What to bring
– Passport photo
– Suitable warm clothing to wear, hat, gloves and sun screen
– Wellies or Shoes you don’t mind getting wet
Restrictions
Minimum age of 12 years old, certificate will be endorsed accordingly to under 18’s. If your child is over 16 they will be able to apply for the ICC

– There has to be a minimum of 3 people for this course to operate, this course begins at 9:15 and finishes at 5:00, there is an hour break for lunch during the course. Both days begin and finish at the same time.
